Abbots Court are proud to be working with Food, Fire, Knives to bring you the following workshop...
Join us for a true foodie adventure aboard the San Gina with veteran skipper Tom Greasty.
Fishing from Swanage along the stunning Jurassic coast, you will learn the basics of targeting various summer species and enjoy a delicious picnic lunch on board.
The afternoon will see you return to the stunning Abbots Court garden, for an afternoon of fish preparation and cookery over oak. You will learn the basics of preparing the fish and shellfish caught that day as well as feasting on these fishy treats throughout the afternoon. Wine will also be provided to wash down these tasty morsels (soft drinks are also available).
All equipment will be provided as well as lunch and drinks aboard the San Gina.
Optional stay at Abbots Court in beautiful bell tents or the stunning farm house where you can enjoy an exceptional dinner, bed and breakfast.
Please note. This is an all-weather course. In wet and windy conditions, we have access to sheltered fishing so please bring appropriate clothing. I.e. coats when cold and wet and sun cream/hats in hot weather. We will inform you of the forecast the week prior to course and suggest attire.
Suitable for all abilities from beginners to the more advanced.
